1) My favorite digital assignment was the Podcast assignment. I enjoyed how it gave my partner and I creative freedom while still teaching us new elements of Adobe. The platform we used was definitely one of the more difficult ones to navigate, but being able to add music made it a lot of fun. Also, getting to brainstorm with a friend made the assignment even more enjoyable.
2) Learning each new app for every assignment was one of the most challenging parts of doing the digital assignments. Because each assignment was only worked on for a week or so, it was difficult to become familiar with the settings and tools. Additionally, finding a variety of shots for assignments like the final project was hard, especially because the video was longer than our other assignments. Being able to make the pieces diverse yet true to my digital self was a part of this difficulty.
3) When it comes to my podcast assignment, I would have had liked to go more in depth with the content we were talking about. I think we were more worried about getting the assignment done that we forgot to be more creative. Also, I think it would have been more fun to edit my digital design more and possibly play around with layering photos. I think overall being able to add more of my personality to my assignments would have been nice.
4) This class has definitely taught me a lot about photography as I further learned things like rule of thirds and exposure. I also built a stronger foundation of my knowledge of the Adobe apps. I learned about looking through the world with a digitally creative lens as well. All in all, this class has fueled my interest for digital design and I would like to learn more in the future.
